KEEP THINGS
SIMPLE

We spend so much time chasing the big things - fitness transformations, new clothes, career wins, all hoping they’ll make us more attractive.

And while those are great goals, the truth is: it’s the small daily habits that add up to real, lasting confidence.

The Japanese have a term for this called, “Kaizen”, or continuous improvement through small steps.

Your goal should be to take easy, everyday things and do them often enough that they build into habits.

And then watch how the world changes around you for the better.

Stand up straight

Before you open your mouth, your posture has already made the first impression.

Shoulders back, chin up, chest open. It shows confidence - and it makes you feel it, too.

Make eye contact

Not the creepy kind.

Just enough to show you’re there. It builds trust, respect, and makes people pay attention when you talk.

Practice it in everyday moments: at the store, in meetings, or even in the mirror.

Groom with intention

Whether you’re clean-shaven or rocking a beard, the key is maintenance.

Line it up, moisturize, check the neck.

Looking polished shows you care about yourself and the moment.

Smell good, always

Smell is a memory-maker.

Your scent should be consistent and subtle, not overpowering.

One spritz on the neck, one on the wrists, and you’re good.

Find your scent and make it part of your signature.

Smile, even if you don’t feel like it

Sounds cliché - but it works.

Smiling changes your energy and makes you more approachable.

People remember how you make them feel.

A small smile can shift an entire interaction.

WHAT’S NEW

I spoke with Business Insider on the transition I made (aka leap of faith) from working a very stable job at Google to focusing full time on YouTube, becoming an influencer, and eventually launching my own brands. Take a look - I haven’t been this publicly transparent about the financial side of my business before.

The vlog is back this week and as you’ll see, it’s a very uncut, raw perspective on what’s been going on with the business - specifically shampoo bottles. But I do gotta say, it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces of content to make.
