This is why it’s the perfect time to stop and reflect.
While most people take their foot off the gas going into summer, use this window to reset, build momentum, and get the ball rolling on real growth.
Recalibrate now and watch where the next six months takes you.

LOCK IN
FOR THE SECOND HALF

June is the ideal time to check in with yourself.
Are you on track to accomplish your goals?
What will move you forward?
What is the noise that needs to be ignored?
Start with a reset checklist
Looking back on the start of the year, how far off are you on what you wanted to achieve?
Take some time to do the following…
✅ Review your goals and realign yourself
✅ Set micro goals that lead to your ultimate annual goals
✅ Be realistic but as aggressive as possible with your goals
✅ Start a new challenge to accelerate your growth (ie. waking up at 6am for the next 2 weeks)
✅ Make it visual - use a calendar or write it down
New habits to built into old routines
Now may not be the time to uproot all of your routines. However, this is a good time to review how you spend your time and where it’s possible to include the following new habits.
First 90 minutes, no distractions. The beginning of the morning is where most people experience peak mental performance.
Looking to get work done? Use the beginning of your day as your golden hours of focus.
Movement, every single day. And I’m not talking about just hitting the gym. It can be a walk, a run, taking the stairs instead of the elevator - whatever gets your circulation and blood flowing.
Any and all movement stacks over time with consistency. Health should always be a priority.
The Sunday night audit. I do this weekly just so I can prep for the week ahead - work, meetings, social gatherings - whatever I have to do for the week.
A couple minutes, an hour - regardless how long you spend doing this, it’s a game changer in getting you mentally ready to take on the week.
Compound all your wins
Small achievements at the beginning of the year may seem like nothing but when you take stock of them with other achievements, everything adds up.
Start small. Track them. Celebrate progress. Repeat.
Maybe your goal is to do more in the second half of the year. But even if that sounds daunting, doing just enough over and over while it compounds can produce the result you want, and potentially a whole lot more.
Treat July like January.
Whether you’re picking the momentum back up or pushing it even further, this is officially your window to reset, refocus, and finish the year strong.
