How to age like fine wine
I feel better at 37 than I did at 23
I turned 37 last week
This is the clearest I’ve ever felt.
Mentally, physically, my routines, my direction - all clarity.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how most guys see aging as decline.
You hit 30, and it’s all downhill, right?
But what if it’s the opposite?
What if your 30s and 40s are where things actually start to click.
Read on because I’m going to tell you exactly how to improve as you age.
This week:
🍽️ Stay clear and sharp with the right diet
💪 Training for the future
🧠 Sleep matters so much
💧 The two things most guys overlook

YOUR 30’S
ARE THE LAUNCHPAD

A lot of guys hit their 30s and think they should be slowing down.
When in reality, you don’t have to fall apart as the years go by.
You can actually get better.
And use your first 20-30 years as the foundation to build on for the next 20 to 30.
Your body just wants some direction
Aging well begins with baselines you build that live on forever.
And that starts with food.
I used to eat whatever was quick.
Now I eat like I’ve got things to do tomorrow.
Lots of colors. Clean protein. Real fats.
Think: salmon, berries, eggs, avocado, greens.
I get it, it’s not exciting. But it works.
Inflammation creeps up quietly in your 30s.
You won’t notice any of this until your sleep gets worse, your skin dulls out, and the brain fog settles in.
Food either fights all of this... or fuels it.
Train with your future self in mind
I’ve been training since I was a skinny teenager.
Originally it was to bulk up.
Now it’s to make sure I can still move like I’m a teenager (you get the point).
Cardio. Lifting. Mobility. Rotate all three.
Focus your workouts around maintaining strength, energy, and flexibility.
Essentially all the things you take for granted in your 20’s, which won’t be as easy to maintain in your 30’s and beyond.
Sleep is when you upgrade yourself
When you’re younger, the more you sleep, the more you grow.
As you get older, the more you sleep, the more you recover.
You don’t feel the cost of poor sleep until it’s already stacked up.
When you lack sleep you:
❌ Become short-tempered
❌ Are slower recover
❌ Wonder why your face looks older in photos.
I’ve learned to treat sleep like skincare.
Protect it. Nurture it.
No skincare routine can outwork 5 hours of trash rest.
Get 7-9 hours. Build a rhythm.
If you win your nights, your days fall into place.
Protect what you’re building
This one gets overlooked by guys so often...
Hydration is the unsung hero of every good routine.
If you’ve got dry skin and low energy, a lot of the time it could be dehydration.
Same goes with being out in the sun.
Use SPF to prevent UV damage.
You won’t notice in your 20’s but sun exposure creeps up on you when you start seeing fine lines in your 30’s and definitely in your 40’s.
What I’ve learned at 37
It’s all about your daily habits.
If you’re not training or eating well in your 20’s, and nothing changes into your 30’s, you’ll 100% feel it.
Genetics only gets you so far - you aren’t going to age better by accident.
Take stock of how you spend your time and adjust.
If you want to feel better at 40 than you did at 20, start acting like it now.
