Get your space to think for you
Tech that improves your home life
Your space shapes your day
When I moved into my apartment, I knew I wanted to make it look great.
I also wanted the space to be practical.
So I looked for anything that helped me save time, focus, or just generally become more efficient.
After living in my apartment for 3 years, I can safely say that I've never lived in a better place.
It just comes down to the research and getting the right products, as you’ll see below.
This week:
🛠️ Upgrading your space with the right tech
Automatic sleep routine
- Vacuum and mop while you’re out
- Connect everything with a smart home hub

TECH THAT WORKS
WHILE YOU LIVE

There are so many new home tech products, it's hard to know exactly where to spend your $
Should you choose Google Home or Alexa? Bose or Sonos? Samsung or LG?
I'll tell you my choices, and why:
It all starts with sleep
![]() | The root of your focus, of your efficiency, and just how well you function daily comes from how well you sleep. When I was looking at products to optimize my sleep, the Eight Sleep Pod 4 kept coming up. It's a mattress topping that controls the temperature of the mattress, with individual temperature settings for both sides. That means your side of the mattress can be cool, while your partner's side is warm. |
On top of that, it adjusts the temperature of the mattress automatically throughout the night to keep you asleep and in REM and Deep Sleep as long as possible.
It has got to be by far one of the most useful pieces of smart home tech I own.
Budget friendly: If you don’t want to splurge on an Eight Sleep, BedJet offers a more affordable alternative.
Come home to clean floors
![]() | I can’t tell you how helpful it is to have something that will automatically vacuum and mop the floor when you’re not there - especially when you have a dog roaming around the house. I like the Matic because it uses cameras and AI to continuously learn your space, so it always tends to clean the whole floor, even if you move things around. |
The brain of every smart home
![]() | Amazon Alexa vs Google Home. Why does it feel like such a daunting decision? Well… because once you choose, you're stuck with it. It's not easy to swap from one to the other after you're hundreds of dollars deep into one ecosystem. But the truth is…they're pretty much the same right now. There's no clear winner or better home hub, it all depends on your personal needs. If you're a heavy Amazon shopper you might want to go with Alexa for example, since you can add things to your cart by using your voice. |
Google is close to upgrading all of their devices with Gemini, which means they're about to get A LOT smarter. The AI race is on, and consumers like us will win because the competition in the space is driving FAST innovation.
Keep an eye out for these new AI-enhanced home tech hubs.

WHAT’S NEW
![]() | Not only should you be switching up the fit based on the setting, you should also be switching up the scents. Expand beyond that one bottle of cologne on the dresser. Get everything you need from my fragrance breakdown. |
![]() | There’s a grey aesthetic going on in the latest BTB vlog (thank you NYC weather) but as you’ll see, it’s still the same energy with the crew, including basically a life-changing meeting. |
